Maidstone Operatic

Maidstone Operatic has an enthusiastic and talented membership and, in order to maintain our high standards, we need constantly to recruit new members.

Anyone interested in joining Maidstone Operatic is invited to come and watch one of our rehearsals just to make sure that they like us and the way that we do things. Auditions for new members are held in September and applicants are asked to bring sheet music of the piece they want to perform. (We have a jolly good pianist who can cope with almost anything). Successful candidates will be invited to join the Society for either the current or future productions, and will also be invited to join our Concert Party.

All members of Maidstone Operatic are required to pay an annual subscription. The current subscription (2010/11) is £10.00 This is payable in September.
(Students - 50% reduction).

Show Fee

Members taking part in the current show are required to pay a Show Fee of £20.00 This is payable in September.
(Students - 50% reduction).

Hire Charge

A £5.00 deposit and £1.00 hire fee is charged for scores and libretti.

Concert Party

Members of the Concert Party pay an annual fee of £10.00 This helps cover the costs of sheet music.
